Random Musings of a Curious Mind

"It is an old maxim of mine that when you have excluded the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."

PayPerPost

All of my friends, whether online or down the block, know that I love to roam the Internet and talk about what I find. (Heck, I just love to 'talk'!) Now - ta da! - I have found a site that will help me to make money blogging.

You have probably noticed that there are a few new links and banners here - and that some of the posts are 'sponsored.' Frankly, that's one of the things I really like about PayPerPost. They insist on full disclosure - meaning anyone who reads my blog will know that, while I may be compensated for some of the posts on this blog, I still am offering my unbiased personal opinions - right, wrong, or indifferent.

As a 'newbie,' I'm still learning the ropes, but I actually earned $10.00, in 2 posts, talking about 2 sites that I think are terrific. Then, I earned another $16.00, creating a great scenario for how and why a CIA operative might receive a "Burn Notice". I've always wanted to write stories and novels, but didn't have the nerve. This was a terrifically fun adventure and I really loved creating a possible situation. Can't wait to see what 'the truth' is!

What makes me happy is that I now am able to buy yarn in new colors and create new designs - without taking monies out of the little bit that comes in on our disability.

What makes me unhappy is that I am limited as to which opportunities I can take, because my blogs Google PR is not updated. I am working with PayPerPost to correct the problem. But, as you know I have no patience, it's taking much longer than I would have expected.

Despite the problems, I still believe that this is a great way for those of us who love to blog to support our hobbies.
